I'm a usa born citizen with dual citizenship in Canada, if I got my drivers license in florida suspended and I moved to canada could I get a license there?|||Yes you can. But you'd actually have to move there to get a licence.
However it would still not allow you to legally drive in Florida.|||No. Canada and the US share this information. Your suspension would show up and you would not be able to get a license in Canada. If you have a DUI you wouldn't get across the border anyways.|||I can tell you for certain that the reverse is *not* the case. A DUI in Canada doesn't simply result in a license suspension, but also a driving prohibition. It's part of the sentence. However, I'm not sure what the American sentence is like.
Still, I find it unlikely that we'd easily issue a new license to someone with a suspended license in another jurisdiction. At a minimum, you would be unable to bypass the learner's permit/graduated licensing processes that are in place.|||Yes, unless they ask you if you are not allowed to have it in the US, which would be odd of them to ask.
