I am 17, going on 18 and am currently living out of the country. I have been driving for a little over a year and a half and am thinking of moving back to the US. So my question is, if I apply to get a Florida Drivers License would I get a Learner's Permit or would I get a Class E Operator's License, considering I have over a year's experience behind the wheel?

if you are 17 you would get a Learner's permit that you would have to hold for 1 year. If you are 18 you can ur class E. Therefore u r better off waiting till u r 18.
