Hi, I'm 18 and I wanted to get a Florida drivers license. I have just learned to drive but I have a Washington permit due to a move from Washington state to Florida.
I was wondering what are the requirements are to get a Florida drivers license if I have an out of state (Washington) permit? I know I need to take the roads test but do I also have to take the written test for Florida since I already took one in Washington for the permit?|||You will need to take your Birth Certificate and your Washington permit to DMV. If you want a FL permit, you can get that, or by taking the road test, you can upgrade to full license. You will need your social security card as well. There is no written test as your Washington license will cover that.

Florida have revoked both my lic and car reg due to having no insurance on recorded, but I did have insurance and even went into the office to make sure that they had the info on file. Two months later sent me a letter that they revoked both, I contacted insurance to resend my insurance policy. Checked statues of them and still they didn't not fix it. I am so upset. And lost on how to deal with this and I fear getting arresst ed if I drive. Ho do to get this corrected ?
