Driving without a Florida drivers license?

My husband just got pulled over driving without a Florida license but he has a license from his home country. We have to go to court and we were wondering what could be the penalty... he is getting his Florida license before the court date


Everything was a misunderstanding because we thought he could use his license鈥hat should we expect?|||If he has been in the US for less than 12 months and he is not intending to stay in Florida permanently, then he CAN use his foreign license (provided it is in English, has a picture, etc.). Many law enforcement don't know this, and give tickets for it.





If that doesn't apply to you, then the judge will probably give him a fine.
