What does the last number on a Florida Drivers License mean?

I have heard it means how many times you have been convicted, if so.|||I don't think so. But since I don't know, in Florida, maybe it means how much longer a person has to live.|||It's not gender,restrictions,felonies (5 different DLs 2 convicted felons and all end with 0) Your DOB is part of it. 3rd set is your birth year, and the next set of numbers has to do with the date. the third number is the same as the second number in the day.

this site can guess what your name, sex, %26amp; birth date is from your license number. but it does not tell what the last number means.

|||Well the last number couldn't possibly the sex. One person said that 0 is male and 1 is female. I am all female and my number is 0. That squashes that idea.

|||The last number is if someone else has the exact same number up to that point. The 1st and 2nd section are code for the first and last name and middle init. The 3rd is the birth year. The 4th is a code for the birth month and day (ex. if male: 40x(month-1)+day).

Date of birth is encrypted in there someone.|||If Florida uses same protocol to generate license number as Wisconsin and Illinois the last number indicates driver restriction - in my case the 1 means I have to wear glasses (or contacts) while driving. A hearing impaired acquaintance code indicates she has to have both side mirrors on vehicle when she drives. Ask the Florida DMV or local police.|||I've got a 0 -- whether or not it means anything, the police can find out using their laptops when they ask you for ID... they usually pull up your record.
